Masters Level Therapist
Intermountain Residential is seeking one full time Masters Level Therapist. Intermountain uses a Developmental Relational treatment approach that is geared towards seeing a child’s challenges through a developmental lens to assess and treat the need underlying the behaviors. We emphasize parental involvement as our treatment approach is one that focuses on the family as a whole, and not just on the child. Our age range at admission is 4-13 years old, and our average age on campus is about 10 years at this time. We serve boys and girls. Our accredited school is located on campus, serves children from K-8th grade and includes the core curriculum as well as music, art, cultural studies, physical education and field trips.
Therapists conduct individual, group and family therapy. They are responsible for the clinical direction that guides treatment and provides the team with a picture of the inner workings of the child and family. Therapists ensure clinically sound and ethical treatment of the children and families. The cottage supervisor and therapist are responsible to collaborate in the maintenance of a respectful and emotionally healthy team culture. Therapists provide trainings to staff and parents on relevant issues for treatment.
