Mountain Springs is a private boarding school located in Cedar City, Utah. It has a great reputation in the industry and is in the process of expanding. We are seeking a dynamic individual who can join our team and be a part of that growth process. This is a case management and administrative position. Responsibilities will include meeting regularly with students to work on personal progress and family goals; support students in getting jobs or getting involved in the community; regular update calls to parents and referring professionals; working with students’ therapists in town in making sure that there is a continuity of care.
Our students have transitioned from wilderness programs and residential treatment programs. They have a history of substance abuse and behavioral programs but have received treatment prior to coming to us. For this reason, familiarity with residential treatment and recovery programs is preferred. A bachelor’s degree is required. Masters in a social science (Psychology, Family Therapy, Sociology or School Counseling) is preferred. This job is about creating relationships with students, parents and with referral sources and other treatment programs so we are seeking someone who is outgoing, has good people and communication skills, someone who can work in a team environment and someone with exceptional organizational skills.
Pay Depends on experience.
