Admissions Director

Oliverian School is seeking an admissions director to join our close-knit team’s mission to help young people find their place in the world.  Oliverian is an alternative, non-profit, college-preparatory boarding high school with 45 students and 33 faculty members located in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire. We provide a combination of academic, counseling, and social/life-skills support for bright students who have not thrived in more traditional settings. Our faculty is a close community of professionals who absolutely love the challenging yet promising students with whom we work.

WHY:

The core purpose of the admissions director role is to maximize the conversion of (i.e. to close) appropriate enrollment and fund-raising opportunities (i.e. "the pipeline"), both directly and by coordinating the efforts of others.  The goal of this position is to facilitate a significant and sustainable net increase (TBD) in appropriate enrollments and funds raised.

  • Track inquiry, conversion, and retention data to inform marketing, admissions, and fundraising efforts

  • Budget and ROI assessment (for admissions/marketing/development) in cooperation with referral-relations director

  • Assist referral-relations director with consultant and VIP tours

  • Involve others in the admissions and customer-service process--set and hold standard

  • Establishes customer-service standards for students, parents, and referents

  • Organizes/coordinates both pipeline and conversion processes

    • Coordinates fund raising efforts--board, school, leadership

    • Work with head of school to support traditional marketing: digital, social, print

  • Referral relations director backup (can do that job and vice versa)

  • Campus aesthetic

  • Local relational marketing: schools, parent groups, therapists, et cetera

  • Other duties as assigned (e.g. AOD rotation)
